Fairtrade Fortnight is a two week celebration, where people come together to support workers and farmers around the world.
Fairtrade needed a campaign lockup; and posters, table talkers and supporting collateral designed.
I created Fairtrade Fortnight’s lockup to build on their current block typography branding. To push this further, I introduced a textural look and feel. A crisp bright green fades through scattered black and to blue, playing off Fairtrade’s logo colours.
I took cues from this textural, blocky look and crafted illustrations. I limited my colour tones to keep them striking and alive. Coffee leaves, gritty beans and other elements scatter around the messaging on each artwork, helping frame them.
This was an exciting campaign. It was fun to dive in and try something a little different to the usual.
