Get On It
Crafted with retouching and generative AI, this image needed to hold it’s own as part of an image suite for Skybus’ growing Get On It campaign.
The look-and-feel, character and visual fidelity needed to be the same as three previous images. However, while the previous were a photoshoot, this needed to be created with AI.
I prompted a set of characters separately from the bus background itself, and iterated through several different AI models. The final result uses GPT2 for the heavy lifting, with key areas reworked with Nano Banana and then further retouching. A colour correct, dodge and burn finishes it off.
Photoshoot Retouch
These quick videos step through my retouching process, for the original three images. Following the photoshoot, new backgrounds needed to be made to set the buses within the Melbourne landscape. I blended stock photos with AI, and then worked them into the images. The scenes were then retouched to be bright, contrasty and vibrant: keeping the flavour of Melbourne.
